Clinical Operations Manager
- We grew the size of our patient base by 10x in the UK, received selective NICE endorsement for our holistic approach to obesity management, and grew our team from 50 to 200.
- Globally, we grew revenue by >120% YoY, while reducing cash burned by 90% YoY, with over $100M USD raised from global investors such as BOND, NewView, Blackbird and Airtree - early backers of companies like Canva, Stripe, Uber and Airbnb.
About The Role Clinical Operations is at the heart of what we do as a healthcare business. As our patient base expands across a growing range of conditions and treatments, we are seeking an experienced Clinical Operations Manager to support the safe and effective scaling of this function. In this role, you'll take charge of our UK prescriber workforce (100+ FTE and rapidly growing) - the clinicians at the core of delivering safe, effective, and world-class care to thousands of patients every day. You'll ensure they are supported, empowered, and consistently performing at their best. Alongside managing workforce planning and rota design, you'll drive performance, uphold clinical standards, and embed the systems and oversight that enable scale. This is a pivotal role in building a prescriber function that is both resilient today and ready for the future of digital healthcare. You'll combine people leadership with operational execution. You'll use data and technology to monitor performance, resolve challenges quickly, and identify opportunities to improve safety, efficiency, and patient outcomes. With new clinics and treatments launching in 2025 and beyond, you'll play a central role in ensuring our prescriber workforce is well-prepared and able to deliver at scale. This role will report directly to the Director of Clinical Operations UK, Alice Pan and will work closely with:
- Guy Wallace, Head of Supply Chain & Fulfilment
- Gianluca Uberti, VP Operations
- Clinical, Product, Operations, and Data leaders across the UK and the global team
What You'll Be Responsible For
- Lead and inspire our prescriber workforce - Take ownership of the UK prescriber team, driving engagement, setting high standards, and ensuring every clinician is empowered to deliver outstanding patient care with the right tools and tech at their fingertips.
- Elevate performance and quality at scale - Harness data, automation, and real-time feedback loops to raise the bar on clinical outcomes, ensuring our workforce is consistently safe, effective, and world-class.
- Build systems that power growth - Design and refine processes that make scheduling, onboarding, and workforce management seamless and scalable, leveraging automation and technology to unlock efficiency and prepare us for future expansion.
- Be the glue across teams - Partner with Clinical, Operations, Product, and Data leaders to solve problems fast, embed tech-enabled workflows, and launch new services smoothly - creating an environment where prescribers thrive.
- You take accountability for prescriber scheduling, performance, and development, ensuring care is delivered safely, efficiently, and at scale.
- You uphold high clinical standards through clear performance management, audits, and coaching, while balancing commercial goals on efficiency, cost, and conversion.
- You bring structure, clarity, and data-driven decision-making to clinical operations, leveraging automation and AI to streamline processes and remove bottlenecks.
- You play a key role in rolling out new services across our brands, ensuring prescribers are trained, workflows are ready, and patients receive safe, timely, and effective care from day one.
- Operator with clinical depth - You bring 5+ years of experience in healthcare operations or clinical management. You may have worked in digital health, a fast-paced startup, consulting, or tech-enabled healthcare environment.
- Built for scale - You've managed clinical teams or functions in high-growth settings, with experience in rota management, workforce planning, and ensuring safe delivery of care at volume.
- Operator's mindset - You move easily between day-to-day execution and process improvement. You've led projects that turned complex challenges into streamlined systems and measurable outcomes.
- Data fluent - You're confident using clinical and operational data to drive insight, track performance, and implement improvements at pace.
- Tech and automation savvy - You've worked with or implemented tech-enabled workflows, including automation or AI, to improve efficiency, safety, or workforce effectiveness.
- Clinically credible (preferred, not essential) - You may be a registered clinician (GMC or equivalent), or you've worked closely alongside prescribers and multidisciplinary teams, with enough exposure to real-world clinical care to lead with confidence and good judgment.
- Acts like an owner - You take full responsibility for workforce and patient outcomes, knowing when to lead from the front and when to empower others to deliver their best work.
- Relentlessly patient-first - You're deeply motivated to improve care quality and patient outcomes. You never lose sight of who we serve.
- High standards, low ego - You move fast, expect excellence, and stay humble. You give and receive feedback well and lead with accountability.
- Systems thinker, clear communicator - You distil complexity into clear, actionable plans. You bring others with you through structure and storytelling.
- Resilient and focused - You thrive in pace and ambiguity. You cut through noise, stay calm under pressure, and get things done.
- Curious and impact-driven - You challenge how things are done and constantly look for better ways to deliver outcomes at scale.
- Make a real impact, fast - We build in the open together, which helps us learn and iterate more quickly, enabling us to deliver high-quality outcomes faster than anyone else. Helping impact patients' lives for the better from the moment you join Euc.
- You'll be supported to accelerate your career - Regular feedback, alongside our bi-annual performance reviews, a professional development budget, and leave help ensure you have the support you need to level up. We're committed to helping every Eucalypt reach their full potential.
- You'll work with others who are incredibly passionate about what they do - Our talent bar is high, and our work ethic is strong. You'll get to stretch yourself every day, be given autonomy to tackle interesting problems, and work amongst people who care deeply about our patients.
- We also offer a range of benefits including:
- Your own stake in the business with our employee options programme
- A monthly wellness allowance, for you to spend on whatever wellness means to you
- A yearly personal development budget and 3 extra days of leave to continuously up-skill yourself
- 25 days holiday + bank holidays with an enhanced parental leave policy
- A fun office with regular socials including after-school sport, clubs, cycle kick-offs and seasonal parties
- Your own MacBook and more!
