Lead Full Stack Engineer (Front-End Focus)

These products will combine real-time telemetry , streaming analytics , and AI-driven insights to help developers and security teams stay ahead of threats.

We’re looking for a Lead Full Stack Engineer (Front-End Focus) to help us design and deliver intuitive, scalable, and secure applications that bring this vision to life.

🌟 What you’ll do:

• Build and maintain analytics and insight tools, with a strong emphasis on user-facing web experiences.

• Develop data processing and analytics features for new data streams, using platform services managed by our Platform Engineering team.

• Take ownership of the full lifecycle : design, build, test, deploy, and operate.

• Ensure the web stack is modern, accessible, secure, and scalable (React, TypeScript, GraphQL/REST).

• Collaborate closely with:
  • Product Owners - to align on priorities and deliver customer value.
  • Designers - to create intuitive, elegant interfaces.
  • Platform engineers - to integrate data pipelines and ensure smooth handovers when analytics scale or become commoditized.

• Apply best practices in accessibility, performance, testing, and maintainability.
• Explore new ways to embed AI-driven analysis and real-time telemetry into the products.
• Use AI tooling to accelerate development, improve efficiency, and focus more time on solving meaningful problems.

🔧 What you'll bring:

• Solid experience as a full stack engineer , ideally with strong front-end expertise (React, TypeScript, Next.js).
• Understanding of back-end integration and data pipelines, including data processing and analytics.
• Practical knowledge of API design and consumption (GraphQL, REST), schema/codegen, and caching strategies.
• Awareness of design systems, accessibility standards, and performance optimisation.
• Experience with testing techniques across the stack.
• Comfort using modern AI development tools to speed up coding, testing, and problem-solving.
• Curiosity and drive to work with streaming data, telemetry, and AI-powered analytics.
• A collaborative mindset, thriving in cross-functional teams.

Nice to Have:

While not essential, we’d be especially excited if you bring experience at the cutting edge of full stack engineering, such as:

• Advanced front-end performance and UX: building real-time analytics interfaces, anomaly detection dashboards, or high-volume visualisations (time-series data, list/chart virtualization, WebGL/Canvas, D3).
• WebAssembly and modern browser tech: integrating Rust or C++ with WebAssembly (wasm-bindgen/wasm-pack), leveraging Web Workers, or delivering in-browser ML inference (TensorFlow.js, WebGPU).
• Performance optimisation: a track record of squeezing every millisecond out of web apps through profiling (Chrome DevTools, Lighthouse) and advanced caching strategies.
• Security-minded development: applying modern security standards (OIDC/OAuth2, RBAC, CSP, Trusted Types, secure WASM integration).
• Data and AI workflows: experience building or integrating with streaming data pipelines, anomaly detection systems, or applying AI/ML models to telemetry data.
• Dev experience improvements: contributing to design systems, CI/CD automation, or using AI coding assistants to boost productivity and code quality.
