The Role

As a Product Manager, you will be at the forefront in building, improving and scaling product solutions that support the growth of our Home Services business.

Working primarily between our Operations and Tech teams, you will manage the products that power Hometree Group’s nationwide engineer network and serve over 100,000 households across the UK. You will collaborate with engineering, design, operations, finance, legal and business intelligence to shape and deliver a roadmap that helps support our customers and teams better and more efficiently. You will lead your own team of developers and drive the end-to-end product lifecycle, from ideation and launch to scaling and optimization.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop Product Strategies: Propose the most optimal solutions to our most pressing business objectives, in partnership with Tech, Operations, and Commercial team leads.
  • Leverage Data Analytics: Dive into our datasets to understand key business metrics and monitor and improve the performance of our products.
  • Align Vision and Strategy: Collaborate with leadership and key stakeholders to shape the future direction of the business.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with engineering, design, operations, commercial, and business intelligence teams to oversee and improve operational efficiency.
  • Prioritize Roadmap: Spearhead roadmap planning cycles to focus the team on high-impact work aligned with business goals.
  • Lead Discovery Processes: Conduct data analysis, market research, user interviews, and usability testing to identify pain points and opportunities and collect feedback.

What we’re looking for:

  • Product Management Experience: 2+ years in product management.
  • Data-Informed Decision-Making: Balance long-term vision with short-term execution using analytics and insights.
  • Cross-Functional Influence: Work effectively across teams and influence stakeholders for optimal solutions.
  • Systems Thinking: Spot process and technology improvements, challenge the status quo, and ask insightful questions.
  • Passionate and Mission-Driven: Enthusiastic about the company’s ambitious goals.

Extra Credit:

  • Operational background: Background in operations or developing internal team tools.

Our Recruitment Process:

  • Initial Call: Start with an introductory call with our Junior Talent Acquisition Specialist to discuss the role and your potential fit. (30 mins)
  • Skills-Based Interview: Engage in a detailed discussion about your past experiences with our CTO and Lead Product Manager.
  • Task Interview: Present a task to a panel of senior leaders in our London Office (1.5 hours)
