We have a great opportunity to join us as Relationship Management Support at Royal London Asset Management. This role provides high‑quality, professional support to Relationship Managers and plays a key part in delivering an excellent experience to RLAM’s UK professional client base.
You’ll help maintain strong relationships with professional investors and intermediaries, supporting sales activity, ensuring smooth and well‑prepared client interactions, and identifying opportunities to showcase RLAM’s investment capabilities and proposition. You’ll also attend client meetings and events, working closely with senior Relationship Managers on larger and more complex client engagements.
This role is best suited to someone experienced in dealing exclusively with professional clients/investors, who understands the importance of precision, credibility and quality in how they communicate to clients and internal stakeholders. A consistently high standard of output, problem solving, attention to detail and confident professional judgement are critical.
About the role
- Assist Relationship Management team members in achieving the RLAM Sales distribution target, especially within the Wealth and Wholesale channels.
- Dealing with all external client queries from clients.
- Liaise with clients via email and telephone to obtain or provide information as needed.
- Building strong and effective relationship with Relationship Management team
- Build knowledge of the RLAM product offering.
- Develop an in-depth understanding of the wider business and products on offer. (Including Fixed Income, Multi Asset etc).
- Administration and reporting work.
About you
- Preferably IMC qualified or willing to complete the IMC within 12 months of starting.
- Exposure and understanding of the asset management industry.
- A proactive attitude with the ability to work under pressure and to meet deadlines.
- Strong written and verbal comm skills.
- Ability and desire to interact with client and build strong relationships with new and existing contacts.
- Someone who can demonstrate competence and professionalism when dealing with clients.
- Being a team player. Share best practice and be open to learning and improving in the role
- Strong work ethic and taking responsibility and being accountable for the work they produce.
- Strong organisational skills, working to tight deadlines with a strong attention to detail
- Someone who is keen to improve skills and their ability to perform in the role.
