International Business Developer
This London-founded clean beauty brand has been a leader in organic and natural skincare since 2002. Offering high-performance skincare, supplements and makeup formulated with botanicals and manufactured in London, the brand is now distributed in over 40 countries through premium retailers, clinics and luxury spas.
The business has entered a new phase of innovation and growth. With a dedicated team of around 50 employees, the company fosters a culture of empowerment, collaboration and shared ambition, championing creativity, accountability and customer excellence.
As the International Business Developer, you will work closely with the International Sales Director to support the global growth and strategic expansion of the distributor network. You will act as a key liaison for international partners, ensuring seamless communication, effective commercial planning and consistent brand execution. This role requires strong commercial awareness, excellent organisation, and the ability to work effectively across markets and internal departments. Travel for client meetings and market visits will be required.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the main point of contact for international distributors, providing consistent communication and service
- Develop commercial proposals, pricing strategies and proactive sales plans to increase sell-in and sell-out performance
- Align sales forecasts and marketing plans with overall departmental budgets
- Create compelling presentations and sales materials for internal and external stakeholders
- Oversee international order fulfilment, working closely with Warehouse and Production teams
- Manage client reporting, including sales and stock levels, and present consolidated insights to the Head of International Sales
- Support Profit & Loss (P&L) reviews to optimise margins and operational efficiency
- Conduct remote and in-market business reviews with clients
- Travel regularly within assigned territories for meetings and market assessments
- Collaborate with Operations, Marketing, Training and Regulatory teams to ensure timely rollout of commercial and marketing initiatives
- Assist with localising and implementing marketing materials to meet market requirements
- Support contract preparation and execution with international partners
- Represent the brand at global trade fairs, conferences and industry events
- Act as a brand ambassador, delivering Masterclasses and presentations to both B2B and B2C audiences
Experience Requirements
- Strong commercial background within international sales, ideally in the beauty industry
- Highly organised with strong project management and attention to detail
- Analytical mindset with excellent numerical ability
- Energetic, adaptable and driven to deliver results
- Creative problem-solver with a proactive and solutions-focused approach
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Good understanding of product, brand and marketing principles
- Culturally aware with an international mindset
- Fluency in additional languages is highly advantageous
- Able to thrive in a fast-paced and evolving environment
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
- Familiarity with international regulatory requirements in the beauty sector
- Experience using SAGE 200 and Power BI (or comparable systems)
- Must have the legal right to work in the UK
