Year 3 Teacher | Kingston | January 2026
Are you an ambitious Year 3 Teacher ready to take on a varied and rewarding KS2 post from January 2026? A friendly primary school in Kingston is recruiting a dedicated Year 3 Teacher to join a busy and supportive teaching team.
The successful Year 3 Teacher will design engaging sequences of learning that build pupils’ declarative knowledge and procedural fluency across the curriculum. This Year 3 Teacher role will include assessment-led planning, leading intervention groups and contributing to whole-school curriculum improvements. Kingston’s school is committed to staff wellbeing, high-quality CPD and close community links; the Year 3 Teacher will be involved in collaborative planning and parental engagement from the outset.
Responsibilities
- Design and deliver high-quality Year 3 lessons with appropriate differentiation.
- Use assessment information effectively to adapt teaching and accelerate progress.
- Lead targeted interventions and track impact on pupil outcomes.
- Work with colleagues to ensure smooth transition between Year 2 and Year 4.
- Maintain clear records and communicate progress to parents and leaders.
Person specification
- Qualified teacher with proven Year 3 or lower-KS2 experience.
- Strong knowledge of curriculum requirements and confident classroom practice.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build positive relationships with pupils and families.
- Enthusiastic about collaborative professional learning and working within Kingston schools.
- Available to start January 2026 and able to be based in Kingston.
