SEN Teaching Assistant
SEN Teaching Assistant Pay: £100-£110 per day Full-time/ Term Time only Hackney, North London We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join our inclusive secondary school team. The successful candidate will support students with special educational needs (SEN), helping them access the curriculum and achieve their full potential in a supportive and structured environment. SEN Teaching Assistant Role:
- Provide one-to-one and small group support to students with SEN.
- Assist in the implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs).
- Support students in developing social, emotional, and academic skills.
- Work collaboratively with teachers, SENCO, and external professionals.
- Promote a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Monitor and record student progress and provide feedback to staff and parents.
- Experience working with children or young people with SEN (preferred).
- A patient, empathetic, and flexible approach.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Relevant qualifications (e.g., Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant, SEN training) are desirable but not essential.
- Enhanced DBS in date and on the update service.
