Casualty & Specialty Reinsurance Broker

We are seeking a talented individual to join our Global Reinsurance Broking team at Guy Carpenter . This role will be based in the London office . This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.

The role: Casualty & Specialty Reinsurance Broker

An opportunity has arisen for a Broker Role, within our UK Casualty & Specialty team. This role will present the right candidate with an excellent opportunity to join a growing team, that handles a diverse portfolio of business.

We will rely on you to:

• Build and maintain strong relationships and develop strategic partnerships with reinsurers whilst helping the team to deliver the best terms as well as a first class service for Clients
• Act as the reference point for advice and technical expertise to the internal Client servicing teams such as Client Support Services and Broker Support Services.
• Assist in providing recommendations and advice on placement strategy, programme structure and market conditions including presentations to clients and prospects where appropriate
• Assist Senior Brokers and actively develop solutions for clients needs.
• Assist with responding to client queries and concerns, resolving issues promptly in order to maintain client satisfaction.
• Demonstrate proficient awareness of market conditions to better serve clients and obtain the best terms from the Markets.
• Develop strong product knowledge within Casualty and Specialty lines.
• Ensure high quality client service.
• Initiate renewal process of placements in good time anticipating and preventing problems when possible.
• May be required to assist colleagues placing different lines of business within the Team.
• Assist on new business development.

What you need to have:

• Proven experience within an established re/insurance broking team.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• The ability to assist in build, manage and develop relationships.
• Willingness and aptitude to help and produce business
