Southwark- Assistant Team Manger- Older People and Physical Disabilities

Liquid Personnel is looking for an experienced Assistant Team Manger- Older People and Physical Disabilities to join their esteemed client. To be successful in this role, you must have Social Work England registration, be eligible to work in the UK, hold a qualification in Social Work at degree level, and have post-qualified experience working with older adults and physically disabled people, including those with concurrent mental health and substance misuse needs. The team's responsibilities encompass complex mental capacity work, including Court of Protection applications when necessary. This indicates that the role involves significant responsibility and expertise in dealing with complex cases.

What will your responsibilities:

• Undertake longer-term (6 weeks or more), complex social work interventions
• Work with older adults and physically disabled people, including those with concurrent mental health and substance misuse needs
• Conduct complex mental capacity work, including Court of Protection applications when necessary
• Perform Safeguarding enquiries, assessments, and unscheduled reviews under the Care Act 2014
• Provide multi-disciplinary input to Continuing Health Care processes
• Participate in the team's duty rotation schedule
