Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer

Job Title: Multi-Skilled Engineer (Electrical Bias)
Location: St Paul’s, London – One-Man Site
Salary: Up to £45,000
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00 – 17:00

Alice Rose Recruitment is currently seeking a Multi-Skilled Engineer with an electrical background to join a highly reputable M&E service provider. This position is based at a prestigious commercial office in St Paul’s, where you will operate as the sole resident engineer.

The ideal candidate will hold an electrical qualification, have solid mechanical knowledge, and be L8 trained. You should also have proven experience carrying out both planned and reactive maintenance across a wide range of building services equipment.

Multi Skilled Engineer Key Responsibilities

* Deliver PPM and reactive maintenance across a range of building services systems.

* Carry out fault finding, inspections, plant adjustments, and system repairs in line with contract specifications.

* Undertake multi-skilled tasks including (but not limited to):

* Re-lamping luminaires

* Electrical fault finding on wiring systems, motors, generators, lighting, chillers, and AHUs

* Maintenance of foul water systems, drains, and ductwork systems

* Plumbing and heating system repairs and inspections

* Ensure all daily worksheets, maintenance logs, and inspection records are completed and submitted on time.

Multi Skilled Engineer Requirements

* Recognised electrical qualifications (City & Guilds Parts 1 & 2, ‘A’ & ‘B’, or equivalent).

* L8 Legionella Awareness trained.

* Strong understanding of statutory compliance for HVAC and Water Treatment.

* Health & Safety qualification (IOSH Working Safely or equivalent).

* BMS experience and proven multi-skilled capability.

* Excellent customer-facing skills with strong verbal and written communication.

* Ability to work independently as the sole site engineer, while maintaining strong organisational and time-management skills
