Business Banking Direct Relationship Manager

We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Business Banking Direct Relationship Manager .
This is an exciting opportunity to acquire, retain, and expand relationships with Business Banking customers. You’ll maximise profitability by identifying customer needs and recommending appropriate solutions. You’ll provide dedicated relationship management with accountability for business development, service, risk, and operational delivery.

In this role you’ll:
- Optimise existing client relationships by assisting in the delivery of solutions, products, and services appropriate to meet customer needs
- Seek new opportunities by nurturing existing relationships to identify new business prospects
- Adhere to structures and processes in place for the management of credit, operational, reputation, financial crime and regulatory risk
- Drive revenue growth through understanding customer needs and by adopting a needs-based approach which engages clients and increases new business
- Deepen understanding of our clients through pro-active credit risk assessments and customer due diligence reviews
To be successful in this role you should meet the following requirements:
- Commercial lending experience is essential
- Experience of working in a commercial environment, i.e. Business/Corporate Banking preferred
- Client/customer-facing experience with a passion for delivering excellent customer service
- Well-developed written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence and share information in a clear, concise and accurate way
- Relationship management skills with the ability to build effective networks across business areas
- A comprehensive understanding of risk management and proven experience of ensuring own/others' compliance with regulatory processes
This is a hybrid role, based in London.
