Site Manager - Secondary School, Staffordshire
Our client is recruiting for an experienced Site Manager to join a busy secondary school in Staffordshire . This is a full-time, permanent role starting in April 2026 , with responsibility for all aspects of site and facilities management.
Site Manager required on a full-time basis
Well-established secondary school
Leadership role within the support staff team
Strong senior leadership support
The successful Site Manager will oversee health and safety compliance, manage site staff, and ensure the school environment is safe, well maintained, and fit for purpose.
Key Responsibilities
• Managing the school site, buildings, and grounds
• Ensuring compliance with health and safety legislation
• Line-managing caretaking and cleaning teams
• Planning and overseeing maintenance schedules
• Coordinating contractors and service providers
• Supporting school events, lettings, and examinations
• Acting as a key holder and emergency contact
Experience and Qualifications
• Proven experience in site or facilities management
• Strong health and safety knowledge
• Leadership and organisational skills
• Proactive and solution-focused approach
• Legal right to work in the UK
