Senior Creative Designer

We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Senior Creative Designer to join our highly regarded and ambitious Creative team in the London office.

We are looking for someone with outstanding creative ability, great attention to detail, and who can work well under pressure while dealing with a range of clients and visual brands.

Pitch decks are a significant part of our work, so we need someone who is as happy working in PowerPoint as they are in Illustrator – but this is not a basic desktop publishing role.

The candidate should be confident in producing branding ideas and creative concepts, and in translating complex information and abstract messaging into well-worked visual layouts using both MS Office and Adobe.

The ideal candidate will have at least five years of design experience working in a corporate environment.

Experience in the finance / private equity industry is an advantage.

Primary responsibilities

• Design assets for pitch and presentation decks, creating or reworking graphics, charts, images, and text layouts
• Build robust and functional client-branded PowerPoint templates, whether leveraging and elevating existing brand guidelines or developing a completely new visual brand
• Design and layout documents and reports for a variety of audiences (internal and external), both digital and printed
• Design marketing materials, event collateral and branded products, both digital and printed
• Act as a brand ambassador across the firm, ensuring visual brand consistency across all materials
• Opportunity to be involved in website development, video and animation branding
• Daily use of Office 365 (PPT, Word and Excel) and Adobe Creative Cloud (Acrobat, InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, Premiere Pro, Express) in the course of the role

• Interest in design industry developments and trends
• Willingness and keen interest in learning and developing new abilities Skills and experience
• Experience in corporate design, including presentation design, preferably in the finance industry
• Advanced skills in Office 365, with particular expertise in PowerPoint
• Advanced Adobe Creative Cloud knowledge, including InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator
• At least a basic understanding of motion graphics and video editing
• Fluent in English with strong written English skill
