Strategic People Partner
STRATEGIC PEOPLE PARTNER
• Odevo UK • Competitive • Hybrid – London
ROLE OVERVIEW
This isn't a traditional HR role. It's an opportunity to shape the future of one of the UK's fastest-growing property services businesses.
As Strategic People Partner, you'll sit on the Property Services Executive Team, partnering directly with the CEO, UK HR Director and senior leadership to shape the organisation, develop exceptional leaders and build the people strategy that enables ambitious growth.
Our Property Services division brings together specialist surveying, fire safety, risk and consultancy businesses into one integrated organisation. With continued investment, acquisitions and ambitious growth plans, we're looking for someone who wants to help build something exceptional.
You'll play a key role in integrating businesses, developing leadership capability, embedding a high-performance culture and ensuring our people strategy supports commercial success. This is a genuine opportunity to influence business decisions and leave a lasting legacy.
ROLE EXPECTATIONS
This is a highly visible role where no two days are the same.
You'll partner senior leaders to solve business challenges, shape organisational design, coach leaders through change and support the integration of newly acquired businesses.
You'll balance strategic thinking with practical delivery, bringing clarity to complexity and ensuring people decisions support commercial outcomes.
WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE
A people strategy that supports commercial growth across the division.
High-performing leadership teams with strong succession plans.
Successful integration of acquired businesses with aligned culture and ways of working.
An organisation designed to scale without losing pace or customer focus.
Leaders who are confident, accountable and equipped to lead through change.
A trusted commercial adviser to the executive team.
HOW YOU'LL SPEND MOST OF YOUR TIME
Partnering executives on organisational design and workforce planning.
Coaching and influencing senior leaders.
Leading change, transformation and acquisition integration programmes.
Building succession plans and future talent strategies.
Using people data to improve business performance.
Partnering with Talent Acquisition, L&D and HR to deliver scalable people solutions.
Challenging leaders and helping solve business problems.
WHO THIS ROLE IS FOR
This role suits someone who thrives where change creates opportunity.
You'll be commercially minded, naturally curious and confident influencing senior leaders while building trusted relationships across the business.
You'll also:
Build credibility through honesty, pragmatism and delivery.
Get to the root cause of problems.
Challenge constructively.
Balance strategic thinking with practical execution.
Roll your sleeves up when needed.
Want to build something, not simply maintain it.
EXPERIENCE THAT HELPS
Capability matters more than sector experience.
You may have built your career within professional services, engineering, facilities management, construction, retail, hospitality or another complex, people-led organisation.
Experience in the following will be highly beneficial:
Partnering executive leadership teams.
Organisation design and business transformation.
Growth through acquisition or organisational integration.
Leadership development and succession planning.
Workforce planning and talent strategy.
Creating high-performance cultures.
Using people insight to influence commercial decisions.
MCIPD or equivalent experience is desirable.

Competitive salary, aligned to experience
25 days holiday plus bank holidays
Annual salary review
Salary sacrifice scheme and option to buy or sell annual leave
Life assurance and private healthcare
Wellbeing support and employee extras (Spectrum Life)

ABOUT ODEVO UK
We are on a mission to become the leading international force in residential property management. What we do matters to billions of people in their everyday lives.
Residential real estate is the world's largest asset class, and for most families, buying a home is the single biggest financial decision they will ever make. For too long, residential property management has fallen short of homeowners' and residents' expectations, and the industry is ready for change. Odevo was formed to make that change happen.
In just six years, Odevo has grown more than 70-fold, establishing us as the leading international player. We are more than 12,000 people across the US, the UK, the Nordics, Germany, Spain, Portugal, Mexico, and Italy building Odevo. Together, we aspire to break new ground through innovation and cultivate a workplace where we help each other succeed, where ideas matter more than titles, and where kindness is a strength.
By combining the power of people and technology, we set a new standard for how homes are managed. Our technology-enabled services simplify living for residents and create a better experience for property owners and boards.
Our ambition is to continue our fast-growing journey through new customers, service expansion, and by partnering with great companies that share our mindset and ambition, both in existing and new markets.
As we continue to grow, we stay true to who we are, challenge unnecessary bureaucracy, and keep decision-making close to our customers.
If you share our mindset and ambition, we'd love you to join us and help accelerate our mission together.
