Human Resources Advisor in London Area
Job description
This is exciting opportunity at a globally renowned architectural studio to provide HR support across talent acquisition, payroll, employee relations, and legal compliance.
The Position:
The HR Advisor provides HR advice and administrative support to designated teams within the practice while managing an HR Coordinator. Responsibilities include overseeing talent acquisition, managing payroll, advising on HR policies, handling employee relations cases, and ensuring legal compliance for immigration and international transfers. The role involves driving HR procedures across the employee lifecycle, offering insights through employee data analysis, and supporting key projects such as appraisals, promotions, and pay reviews.
The Candidate:
The ideal candidate will have a solid foundation in HR generalist processes, with up-to-date knowledge of UK employment law (international experience is a plus) and payroll procedures. Strong organisational, administrative, and communication skills are essential, along with proficiency in MS Office tools like Excel (including pivot tables and VLOOKUP). Candidates should demonstrate adaptability in a fast-paced environment, experience mentoring junior staff, and a positive, solutions-focused attitude. A CIPD Level 5 qualification or equivalent is preferred, as is experience in a demanding HR role.
