PMO Analyst (6 Month FTC - Rolling) - Systems Integrator

The team is hiring a PMO Analyst to provide governance, reporting, and coordination across critical projects. The role will focus on monitoring progress, ensuring compliance with frameworks, and supporting delivery teams with the tools and insights needed to achieve successful outcomes.

Responsibilities:
- Check the accuracy of project data in tools (like Planview, Clarity, or MS Project Online).
- Validate project status, progress, milestones, RAIDs (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, Dependencies), and financials.
- Challenge project managers where data looks incorrect, and drive corrective action.
- Help the Portfolio Lead identify, escalate, and resolve risks and issues across the portfolio.
- Provide early warnings and help ensure risks are mitigated.
- Perform quality checks on projects, ensuring they follow governance and delivery processes.
- Support independent reviews or assurance checks.
- Prepare packs, minutes, actions, and trackers for working groups, programme meetings, and portfolio committees.
- Keep governance forums running smoothly (scheduling, ToR management, attendee lists).
- Ensure adherence to the company’s Project Delivery Lifecycle (PDLC) and business rules (e.g. approvals, change control, financial sign-off).
- Act as the "police" of the portfolio to ensure standards are followed.
- Manage document storage, templates, and compliance with standards.
- Support PMs with system access, tools, templates, and training.
- Work with PMs and Portfolio Lead to ensure the book of work (all active/planned projects) is achievable within available resources and budget.

Skills/Must have:
- Demand & Financial Planning - Able to forecast, track, and analyse portfolio demand (resources, project pipeline) and financials (budgets, spend vs. forecast).
- PMO / PLC processes - Familiarity with project lifecycles (e.g. initiation, planning, execution, closure) and governance checkpoints (e.g. approvals, stage gates).
- Basic IT knowledge - Useful since many portfolios are IT-heavy, doesn’t need to code but should understand IT project contexts (infrastructure, applications, etc.).
- MS Office / Excel (advanced) - Key skill: strong Excel modelling, pivot tables, financial tracking, data analysis, reporting dashboards. PowerPoint and Word for senior packs.
- Numerical & analytical - Comfortable with financials, data validation, and turning complex info into clear, simple reporting.
