About the Role
The Data Officer will be responsible for ensuring the integrity, accuracy, and security of all school data. You will produce reports, support senior leadership in decision-making, and maintain efficient systems for monitoring student progress and administrative functions.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing and maintaining school databases, ensuring data accuracy and security.

  • Producing reports and analysis for senior leadership, governors, and staff.

  • Supporting assessment tracking, attendance records, and student progress monitoring.

  • Ensuring compliance with GDPR and other data protection regulations.

  • Assisting with admissions, examinations, and reporting processes.

  • Providing guidance and training to staff on data systems and reporting tools.

  • Contributing to improvements in data management processes and reporting efficiency.

Experience and Qualifications

  • Previous experience in data management, administration, or a school environment.

  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and database systems.

  • Excellent attention to detail, organisational, and analytical skills.

  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information professionally.

  • Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate across teams.
