The Year 1 Teacher will lead systematic phonics, guided reading and creative writing, and will plan rich maths sessions to build fluency. From January 2026 the Year 1 Teacher will run interventions, monitor progress and report to parents. Person specification — Year 1 Teacher
We are seeking a Year 1 Teacher with QTS and recent KS1 experience, strong phonics practice and the ability to form positive relationships with children and families. The Year 1 Teacher should be available to prepare before January 2026, attend induction in January 2026 and teach from January 2026 as a Full-Time Year 1 Teacher.
