Location: Chelsea & Belgravia, London
Contract: Full-time, Live-out
Salary: Approximately £70,000 gross per annum (negotiable for a TOP candidate)

The Role

On behalf of my UHNW employer, I (the PA) am seeking an experienced and highly professional Head Housekeeper to oversee the housekeeping operation across four private residences and one office in Chelsea and Belgravia, all within close walking distance of one another.

This is a key position within the household team, combining leadership, administration and hands-on housekeeping. The successful candidate will supervise and support a team of Housekeepers while ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness, organisation and presentation are maintained across all properties.

Responsibilities

Team Leadership & Training
Lead, motivate and support the housekeeping team
Train and onboard new staff
Maintain consistent standards across all properties
Conduct quality control checks and provide feedback
Assist with household manuals, inventories and SOPs

Scheduling & Administration
Prepare and manage housekeeping rotas
Coordinate staffing across all properties
Assist with holiday planning and shift adjustments
Manage stock levels and household supplies
Liaise with the Family Office regarding maintenance and operational matters
Ensure clear communication and handovers between team members

Housekeeping Duties
Work alongside the team when required and lead by example
Carry out high-level housekeeping and organisational tasks
Ensure all properties are maintained to an immaculate standard
Care for luxury finishes, fine furnishings, artwork and antiques
Maintain excellent laundry, ironing and wardrobe care standards

Professional Standards
Maintain complete discretion and confidentiality at all times
Present a calm, polished and professional manner
Promote a positive and supportive team culture

Schedule
5 days per week, up to 45 hours
Early and late shifts depending on household requirements
Weekend work required on a rota basis
Two consecutive days off per week
Rotas provided at least two weeks in advance
All properties are within walking distance
Transport provided when required, including late finishes after 10pm
Flexibility is essential

Requirements
Previous experience as a Head Housekeeper, Senior Housekeeper or similar supervisory role within a UHNW private household
Strong leadership and team management skills
Experience with rota planning and household administration
Exceptional housekeeping, laundry and garment care skills
Excellent attention to detail and organisational abilities
Professional, discreet and reliable
Able to adapt to changing household priorities
Luxury hotel housekeeping experience would be beneficial but is not essential
Uniform & Environment

Uniform provided
Immaculate presentation required at all times
Professional housekeeping team across multiple properties
A small family dog may occasionally be present
