KS2 Teacher
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Year 6 Teacher to join a primary school in Brent on a full-time, long-term basis from January 2026.
About the role
As the Year 6 Teacher, you will take full responsibility for planning and delivering high-quality lessons across the curriculum, with a strong focus on English and Maths. You will support pupils academically and pastorally, helping them build confidence, resilience, and independence as they prepare for transition to secondary school.
Key Responsibilities
Planning and delivering high-quality lessons in line with the national curriculum
Preparing pupils for SATs and end-of-key-stage assessments
Assessing, tracking, and monitoring pupil progress effectively
Maintaining high standards of behaviour and engagement
Working collaboratively with colleagues, support staff, and parents
Contributing to intervention planning and pupil progress meetings

Requirements
To be considered for the role of KS2 Teacher you will:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Previous experience teaching Year 6 or Upper KS2
- Strong subject knowledge in English and Maths
- Confidence in assessment, data tracking, and SATs preparation
- Commitment to a full-time, long-term role from January 2026
Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:
