Live-in Caretaker

Residential Caretaker – Live in (accommodation provided) – West London - £20k + Apartment

We’re working with a residential management company who are looking to recruit a live-in Caretaker to replace their longstanding Caretaker who is due to retire in the new year.

The position comes with a FULLY EXPENSED APARTMENT on site (in West London) in addition to a starting salary of £20,000 per annum.

Duties and terms as follows:

* Working Mon to Fri 8am to 4pm

* Based on a small but prestigious estate in West London (W11)

* One bedroom apartment provided FULLY EXPENSED (including all bills and council tax)

* Ensuring cleanliness of the site at all times (bins/rubbish, vacuuming/polishing internal areas, sweeping/litter picking communal grounds, walkways, washing down walls, liaison with dustman etc.)

* Distribution of post to each flat, ensuring all letters and parcels are delivered ASAP

* Management of visitors to site, keeping suitable records

* Keyholding & security

* Forming good relationships with residents and visitors (excellent written & spoken English essential)

* Basic DIY as required

* Emergency Lighting and Fire Alarm checks

* Jet Washing paving and bin areas periodically

* Watering plants during the summer months

Suitable Caretaker applicants will be polite, well-presented and extremely helpful with excellent organisation skills and a can-do attitude. Applicants will also be DBS checked as part of the recruitment process.

With the current caretaker retiring in January, our client is looking to appoint a suitable replacement Caretaker ASAP.
