Salary - £30,000 – £33,000 per annum

Hours – 40 per week with flexible shift options.

Join a newly opened and thriving nursery in Wandsworth (SW18) as a Preschool Room Leader and be part of something special! This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate Early Years Educator with 1–2 years of experience as a Room Leader, to make an impact, and grow their career in a warm, supportive, and forward-thinking environment.

Key Responsibilities:
• Provide high-quality care and education for children aged 3–5 years
• Create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment
• Observe, assess, and document children’s development
• Collaborate with parents and colleagues to support each child’s unique needs
• Ensure accurate record-keeping of developmental progress
• Maintain a clean, organized, and well-resourced learning space
• Adhere to all health, safety, and safeguarding policies

Person Specification:
• Min Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education (full and relevant) or QTS
• 1- 2 years’ experience in a similar role
• Strong knowledge of the EYFS and Ofsted statutory guidelines
• Practical experience creating quality learning opportunities tailored to children's interests and development
• Solid understanding of safeguarding, health & safety, equal opportunities, and SEN/Inclusion
• Proven experience as a key person, building positive relationships with children and families
• Confident in observing, assessing, and reporting on children's behaviour and development as well as leading a team of practitioners.
