Cyber Security Consultant - Manager - OT Multiple locations across UK

We are seeking an experienced OT Cyber Security Consultant to support our clients in safeguarding critical Operational Technology (OT) environments. The successful candidate will work across industrial systems, critical infrastructure, and manufacturing environments, ensuring robust security strategies, compliance with standards, and alignment between IT and OT security practices.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct OT cyber security assessments , risk analyses, and maturity reviews for client environments.
Design and implement security strategies and roadmaps for OT networks, ICS/SCADA systems, and IIoT.
Advise on segmentation, hardening, and monitoring of industrial networks and assets.
Support compliance with relevant frameworks and standards (e.g., IEC 62443, NIST CSF, ISO 27001, NERC CIP ).
Collaborate with IT security teams to ensure convergence of IT and OT security practices.
Lead incident response planning and tabletop exercises tailored for OT environments.
Develop policies, procedures, and awareness programs for plant and engineering staff.
Provide expertise during procurement, vendor risk management, and solution selection.
Deliver client workshops, presentations, and training sessions .
Required Skills & Experience
Strong background in OT / ICS security consulting , preferably within critical infrastructure, utilities, energy, or manufacturing.
Hands-on experience with ICS/SCADA systems (e.g., Siemens, Schneider, Rockwell, Honeywell).
Solid knowledge of network security principles (segmentation, firewalls, intrusion detection, anomaly monitoring).
Familiarity with threat intelligence and incident response specific to OT environments.
Working knowledge of relevant standards and regulations : IEC 62443, NERC CIP, ISO 27001, NIST 800-82.
Ability to communicate effectively with engineering teams, plant managers, and C-level stakeholders .
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a consultancy mindset.
Desirable Qualifications
Degree in Cyber Security, Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
Certifications such as: GICSP, GRID, ISA/IEC 62443, CISSP, CISM, or equivalent.
Experience with SIEM, OT security monitoring tools, and vulnerability management .
Exposure to cloud-connected OT environments and IIoT security .
