Art Department

The Role
The school is seeking a skilled and organised Art Technician to support the daily running of the Art Department.
The successful candidate will ensure that materials, equipment and resources are prepared for lessons and maintained to a high standard.
Responsibilities
• Prepare materials and equipment for art lessons
• Support teachers and students during practical activities
• Maintain art studios and equipment
• Manage stock of art materials and supplies
• Organise displays and exhibitions of student artwork
• Assist with preparation for GCSE and A-Level coursework
• Ensure health and safety procedures are followed
• Maintain a clean and organised studio environment
• Support extracurricular art clubs and creative activities
Requirements
• Experience working with art materials and equipment
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Interest in supporting creative learning environments
• Reliable and proactive approach
