A forward-thinking and inclusive secondary school in South East London is seeking a reliable and hands-on Facilities Officer to join its site team on a permanent basis.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who takes pride in maintaining safe, clean, and well-organised environments and enjoys being part of a busy school community.
The successful candidate will support the day-to-day running of the school site, helping to ensure buildings and grounds remain secure, compliant, and well maintained for students, staff, and visitors.

The Role
Carrying out day-to-day site maintenance and minor repairs
Supporting room setups, school events, and porterage duties
Opening and closing the school site as a keyholder
Monitoring site security, alarms, and access points
Supporting health and safety and compliance procedures
Working closely with contractors and external providers
Requirements
Applicants should:
Have previous facilities, caretaking, or site management experience
Be practical, proactive, and organised
Be able to work effectively as part of a team
Have good communication and problem-solving skills
Be committed to maintaining high standards across the school site
Salary
£32,535 – £33,987
