We’re currently representing a leading and specialist re-insurance company in their search for a Senior Business Analyst.
They are underway with a significant programme to suppport and enhance its Finance function technologies and practices. As a result it is seeking a skilled Senior Business Analyst with SaaS ERP financials deployment experience to join the existing team. The role is responsible for eliciting and documenting requirements of projects within Programme working closely with the programme team, business stakeholders and 3rd party implementation partners to enable and support the translation of business need into technical solutions.
Responsibilities
- Working with functional leads and SI Partners to elicit and document functional requirements for all projects within the programme
- Maintaining Requirements Traceability documentation (alongside PMO)
- Map As-Is and assist functional teams to derive and document To-Be processes
- Quality check Workday Workbooks for completeness / contradiction as part of Workday methodology.
- Gather information and requirements from the business and define improvements to processes, ensuring that solutions are designed for optimal business performance whilst being developed efficiently but also maintaining technical quality.
- Elicit and document integrations requirements, engage with 3rd parties where required
- Prepare test documentation in accordance with company standards and support and participate in test execution of business application
Experience Required
- Knowledge and experience of large scale ERP financials deployments/integrations with Workday, SAP, Oracle, Dynamics F&O etc
- Financial module experience General Ledger (GL), Procurement to Payment (P2P), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivables (AR), Record to Report (R2R) an settlements.
- Integration mapping experience
- Formal analysis techniques including User story mapping and impact mapping. An excellent understanding of SaaS lifecycle
- Strong visual/verbal/written storytelling skills with an ability to elicit and then break down complex information into digestible formats for various audiences
- Ability to articulate complex ideas, presentations and plans simply and with clarity at all levels across the organisation (e.g. from junior team members up to board level).
- Knowledge and experience of Treasury Management Systems - desirable
- Experience gained within the insurance and/or financial services industry
