Senior Internal Auditor - Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning - Associate (Hiring Immediately)
JPMorgan Chase Internal Audit is an independent function accountable to the Audit Committee of the Board of Directors, the Office of the Chairman, senior management and our global and local regulators. Internal Audit is comprised of more than 1,000 auditors, located in key locations across the globe, and is responsible for assessing the adequacy of the control environment across the firm's lines of business. We are looking for a talented Senior Associate to join our Chief Data & Analytics Office team as an Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning auditor. This is your opportunity to play a crucial role in enhancing our organization's governance and operational excellence. The Chief Data & Analytics Office governs and enables Firmwide AI/ML capabilities, drives strategy and solutions to maximize the value of data across the firm, as well as designing and delivering enterprise data and analytics capabilities through key products and platforms. As a Senior Internal Auditor - Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning - Associate within the Chief Data & Analytics organization, you will assist with ongoing risk assessment, control identification, audit execution, and continuous monitoring activities. This role is perfectly suited for an experienced IT audit professional with a keen interest and understanding of Artificial Intelligence and Data, as well as the audit and risk skills necessary to effectively execute global audits. Job responsibilities Participate in audit engagements from planning to reporting and produce quality deliverables to both department and professional standards while ensuring audits are completed timely and within budget Partner with colleagues and stakeholders to evaluate, test and report on the design and operating effectiveness of management’s controls Communicate audit findings to management and identify opportunities for improvement Create and maintain collaborative working relationships with stakeholders, while providing independent challenge Contribute to a collaborative working environment with team members and peers, supporting a culture that encourages integrity, respect, excellence and innovation Stay up to date with evolving industry and regulatory developments Find ways to drive efficiencies in audit process through automation while embracing the innovative opportunities offered by new technologies Required qualifications, capabilities and skills Bachelor's degree (or relevant financial services experience) required. Experience with auditing technology controls and an understanding of emerging technology (e.g., Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning). One of the following professional qualifications is required: Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP). Experience with internal audit methodology and applying concepts in audit delivery and execution. Solid understanding of internal control concepts, with the ability to evaluate and determine the adequacy of controls by considering business and technology risks in an integrated manner. Excellent verbal and written communications skills. Strong analytical skills, particularly in regard to assessing the probability and impact of an internal control weakness. Enthusiastic and self-motivated, with a keen interest in learning; effective under pressure and willing to take personal responsibility/accountability.
