Nanny
This is a lovely opportunity for a nurturing and engaging nanny who takes a thoughtful, child-led approach and enjoys supporting early development in a calm and attentive environment. The position is for two days per week, ideally Tuesday and Thursday, with hours approximately 9:30am to 5:30pm, although there is some flexibility for the right candidate.
The role will involve a combination of shared care and sole charge . The eldest child attends nursery in the mornings. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the daily routine, including nursery drop-off, and providing attentive, developmentally focused care, with strong emphasis on creating a warm and stimulating environment, with activities such as reading, music, and outdoor play forming a natural part of the day.
The nanny will also be responsible for preparing fresh, nutritious meals and undertaking batch cooking for the freezer, while maintaining an organised and calm home environment. The family is seeking someone who is highly experienced with babies and early years development, confident in managing food allergies, and naturally warm, gentle, and emotionally attuned. A proactive and professional approach, along with strong communication skills, will be essential.
The household includes a friendly and affectionate dog. Driving is not essential, although parking is available, and there is also secure storage for bicycles.
The role offers a salary in the region of £23 gross per hour, dependent on experience and qualifications. This is a wonderful opportunity for a dedicated nanny seeking a high-quality, part-time position with a kind and respectful family.
