Senior Accountant
The Role:
Financial Reporting s Control
- Oversee the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in line with IFRS and local GAAP requirements.
- Ensure timely consolidation of financials across global entities.
- Take the lead in sales force commission workings.
- Aid in the implementation and maintenance of robust financial controls and processes.
Budgeting s Forecasting
- Assist the Global Head of Finance with annual budget preparation and periodic re-forecasting.
- Provide variance analysis and financial insights to senior management.
- Support strategic planning through financial modelling and scenario analysis.
Regulatory s Compliance
- Ensure compliance with FCA and other international regulatory reporting requirements.
- Liaise with auditors, tax advisors, and regulators as needed.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of financial regulations impacting the business.
Leadership s Collaboration
- Supervise and mentor finance team members.
- Work closely with regional offices to standardize and streamline financial processes.
- Partner with business leaders to support commercial decision-making
Ideal Profile:
- Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
- Proven experience in a financial control or similar role, ideally within financial services/FinTech/FX/Trading.
- Strong knowledge of IFRS, regulatory reporting, and audit processes.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and financial modelling skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, international environment.
- Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
