Marketing and Communications Director (IT)

Candidate profile: As the Director of Marketing & Communications for London, you will report directly to the Vice-President of UK & Australia Marketing & Communications and form part of the Global Extended Leadership Team within CGI?s worldwide MarCom function. You will act as a strategic business partner to senior leaders within the London Business Unit (BU), providing expert guidance and delivering results-oriented marketing and communications initiatives. Strategic Marketing, Brand & Growth Enablement
- Serve as a trusted advisor to BU operational leaders, offering insight-driven counsel on market positioning, strategic opportunities, and brand development in a competitive metro market.
- Develop and implement integrated, data-led marketing and communications strategies aimed at driving brand preference, lead generation, and business growth.
- Champion CGI?s brand at the local level, crafting compelling, metro-specific storytelling and value propositions that resonate with clients, prospects, and industry influencers.
- Design and lead multichannel campaigns across digital, content marketing, business development enablement, social media, and events?ensuring alignment with business goals and measurable outcomes.
- Elevate CGI?s market visibility through strategic engagement with local media, analysts, and trade influencers.
- Experience in marketing leadership experience, preferably in the IT services or professional services sectors.
- Deep understanding of the IT services landscape, with preference for candidates familiar with CGI?s key sectors, particularly banking.
- Demonstrated success in designing and executing insights-driven marketing and communications strategies that scale.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with a strong aptitude for executive presentations and storytelling.
- Proven ability to create and deliver narratives that effectively represent CGI?s vision and leadership on-stage with BU executives.
- Strong financial acumen, with experience managing marketing budgets to optimize performance and ROI.
- Bachelor?s degree in marketing, Communications, Business or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
- Proven experience as a strategic business partner who builds trust and credibility with senior stakeholders.
- Innovative, curious, and tech-savvy, with a forward-looking approach to modern marketing practices.
- Strong collaboration skills with the ability to balance global brand stewardship with local market needs, acting as a connector within a matrixed organization.
