As a Grill Chef at Hawksmoor , you’ll take ownership of the most iconic part of our kitchen. Cooking over charcoal and working with exceptional, grass-fed beef, you’ll deliver perfectly cooked steaks with precision, confidence and pride. This is a hands-on role at the heart of service, where consistency and timing matter just as much as technical skill.
What You’ll Do

• Cook steaks and grill items to Hawksmoor standards
• Manage your section with precision during busy services
• Control timing, temperature and consistency on the grill
• Maintain high standards of food safety, organisation and cleanliness
• Work closely with the pass and wider kitchen team to ensure seamless service
• Support junior chefs working within your section

• Experienced working with fresh food in a quality kitchen
• Confident cooking meat and managing high-pressure service
• Calm, organised and detail-focused
• A team player who communicates clearly and works collaboratively
• Passionate about quality produce and open-fire cooking
• Eager to develop your craft and grow within a professional kitchen
