After school tutor
About the Role:
As an after-school tutor, you will work with primary or secondary students, delivering tailored support to help them build confidence and achieve their academic goals. Sessions may take place in students' homes, schools, or community settings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging, personalised tutoring sessions
- Support students with homework, exam preparation, or subject-specific challenges
- Monitor and report on student progress
- Build positive, professional relationships with students and parents
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) - essential
- Experience teaching in UK schools
- Strong subject knowledge (primary or secondary level)
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- A passion for helping students succeed
