Salary: £70,000 per annum plus bonus

Compass Group UK & Ireland is seeking an experienced Facilities Contract Manager to lead the delivery of integrated soft FM services at a prestigious government site in Central London. This is a high-profile role requiring strong leadership, commercial expertise, and a commitment to operational excellence within a secure and sensitive environment.

Working at one of the most important buildings in the country, you will oversee a wide range of facilities services, ensuring the highest standards of performance, compliance, and customer satisfaction are consistently achieved.
Security & Vetting Requirements
Due to the nature of this location, this role involves working in a highly sensitive, secure environment . Successful candidates must be able to pass enhanced government security vetting .

These checks are mandatory to ensure the integrity, safety, and security of the site and its operations.

Your Role & Responsibilities
As Facilities Contract Manager , you will be responsible for the end-to-end management of the contract, ensuring seamless service delivery and continuous improvement across the FM operation.

You will:

Manage the Contract - Lead the full lifecycle of the FM contract, ensuring hard and soft services are delivered safely, efficiently, and to specification.
Drive Operational Excellence - Implement best practice, innovation, and continuous improvement initiatives across facilities services.
Stakeholder Management - Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, senior stakeholders, and internal support teams.
Commercial Performance - Own the financial performance of the contract, managing budgets, forecasts, and cost control to deliver agreed outcomes.
Health, Safety & Compliance - Ensure full compliance with statutory, contractual, and company health & safety requirements at all times.
Lead & Develop Teams - Motivate, develop, and inspire operational teams and subcontractors to deliver high performance and engagement.
Risk & Change Management - Identify operational risks and manage change effectively in a complex, secure environment.

✔ Proven experience in a Facilities Management or Contract Management role , ideally within a complex or regulated environment
✔ Strong leadership capability with experience managing multi-disciplinary FM teams
✔ Sound commercial and financial acumen, with experience managing budgets and P&L
✔ Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
✔ Experience driving change, improvement, and service innovation
✔ A proactive, professional, and client-focused approach
