Field Service Leader

The Field Service Leader is responsible for overseeing all field service activities within the United Kingdom. This includes collaborating and working with external partners (installation and service contractors), supervising installation and commissioning processes, supporting service activities both from the field and the office, and ensuring successful execution of WINT’s solutions on-site. This is a hands-on role that involves extensive fieldwork in addition to office-based responsibilities. The role requires someone who can work independently, take initiative, and drive processes forward proactively. The Field Technician serves as the key operational point of contact for UK field activities and reports directly to the Field Service Team Leader.

Job Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience in field operations, project coordination, or technical service roles (preferably in water systems, IoT, or building automation).
• Hands-on technical background in plumbing, commissioning, or systems integration.
• Experience working with or managing external vendors and subcontractors.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Strong ability to work independently and take ownership of tasks and responsibilities.
• Proven experience in driving processes forward and delivering results with minimal supervision.
• Willingness to travel within the UK to support extensive field activities.

Nice to Have:
• Previous experience with IoT-based building solutions.
• Knowledge of UK construction/site regulations and safety standards.
• Familiarity with CRM/project management tools (e.g., Salesforce, JIRA).

Job Responsibilities:

Partner Collaboration:
• Support third-party contractors and technicians performing installations and service operations across the UK.

• Ensure partner compliance with WINT standards and guidelines.
• Provide feedback and performance reviews to partners and escalate issues to global management.

Field Execution & Commissioning:
• Plan and oversee all fieldwork in the UK, including site readiness, installation coordination, and commissioning.
• Troubleshoot on-site issues and ensure timely completion of installations.
• Maintain quality control and consistency with global procedures.
• Actively manage and participate in field activities, ensuring a strong field presence alongside office duties. Service & Support:
• Coordinate service visits and issue resolution with technical partners and technicians.
• Act as a local escalation point for field-related problems.
• Monitor and report on SLA compliance and customer satisfaction in field operations.
• Take initiative in resolving service challenges independently and pushing processes to completion.

Reporting & Coordination:
• Report field activity and progress to the Field Service Team Leader
• Maintain accurate project records, timelines, and documentation for UK operations.
• Contribute to the improvement of field processes and best practices in collaboration with the global team.
• Operate effectively in both field and office environments, demonstrating self-disciplin and independence.

Field Presence:
• Regularly support installations and services directly in the field, especially in urgent cases or when partners are unavailable
