Shape the future of regulatory reporting automation at Cynergy Bank.

Join us as a Regulatory Reporting Analyst and make a real impact by helping ambitious businesses and individuals achieve their goals through our award-winning human digital banking model.

What’s the opportunity?
This is a 12‑month fixed‑term contract supporting a major programme of regulatory reporting automation and data transformation. You’ll play a key role in testing, validating and comparing data across production and UAT environments, supporting automation of Treasury assets, CBF lending and pipeline lending, and contributing to several critical regulatory change programmes including Basel 3.1, and our Data Warehouse / Google Cloud migration. You’ll be supported with full training, making this an ideal opportunity for an early‑career analyst with strong Excel skills and some regulatory or banking experience to grow in a highly specialised area.

Where You will Work

You will enjoy hybrid working, with 3 days in our London office and 2 days from home.

Why Join Us?

We know the best people want more than just a job. At Cynergy Bank, you will find:

  • Impact: Support the automation of core regulatory returns, strengthen the accuracy and consistency of our reporting, and help us embed new regulatory requirements across Basel 3.1, SDDT

  • Growth: A culture that champions curiosity, innovation, and personal growth at every stage.

  • Flexibility: A culture that values work-life balance, supported by our hybrid working model.

  • Rewards: Recognition for your skills and contribution, including annual bonus opportunities and a comprehensive benefits package.

How You Will Make an Impact

  • Execute intensive testing across automation workstreams, including Treasury assets, Trail balance, CBF lending and pipeline lending.

  • Compare production vs UAT outputs, ensuring accuracy, completeness and alignment.

  • Support key programmes including Basel 3.1 (SME flags, SIC codes, DPR automation, collateral indexation)

  • Test Suade schemas and regulatory returns as part of the Data Warehouse / Google Cloud transformation.

  • Contribute to improvements in variance analysis, commentary, and the reduction of manual adjustments across regulatory processes.

  • Assist with selected regulatory returns and reporting tasks as automation matures.

What You Will Bring

  • Excellent Excel skills (including pivots and large‑scale data manipulation).

  • Strong analytical ability and comfort working with large datasets.

  • Some regulatory reporting or banking experience (e.g., exposure to returns, treasury products, or finance data).

  • Ability to work confidently with IT teams and follow structured testing processes.

  • Curiosity, energy, and a willingness to learn quickly in a technical environment.
