Chef de Partie – Workplace

Aramark UK are currently recruiting a Chef de Partie to join our team working with our client based in Central London.

You will be responsible for working collaboratively with the teams regarding food production management to ensure minimal wastage, maintenance of food levels, food quality and brand standards.

A day in the life of a Chef de Partie:

  • Assist in the development and application of both Client and ARAMARK catering policy.
  • Provide innovative, fresh, seasonal, consistent, lively and interesting variety of food which is relevant to customer needs and environment.
  • Ensure all food production is produced within the established cost criteria for the catering unit.
  • Ensure top quality raw materials are provided by suppliers and used in the preparation of dishes.
  • Ensure all deliveries are checked on arrival for quantity and quality and are correctly stored to comply with statutory regulations.
  • Ensure all fridges and contents are labelled and dated daily.
  • Ensure that correct chopping boards are used for the correct job.
  • To assist and ensure that both Breakfast and Lunch services are set up and ready 15 minutes prior to opening times.
  • Supervise & support all services, special functions etc. to the standard of operational requirements.

You will be set up for success if you have:

⦁    Relevant culinary qualification.
⦁    Previous experience of working in a kitchen.
⦁    Certificate in food safety (or willing to obtain via our online e-learning).
⦁    Excellent team player and communicator.
