Hours: 8:30 - 3:45 PM
Salary: £90 - £105 per day (Depending on Experience)
Start Date: ASAP
Contract Type: Full-Time / Long - Term

GSL Education are looking for a dedicated SEMH Teaching Assistant to join a warm and welcoming school in Tower Hamlets . This is a rewarding opportunity to support students in overcoming challenges and making progress in their academic and personal development.

As a Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) Teaching Assistant (TA) , you will work closely with students to help them build the skills they need to succeed both in and out of the classroom. You will be part of a supportive team focused on promoting positive mental health and well-being for all students.

Responsibilities:

* Provide tailored support to students with SEMH needs, both individually and in groups.
* Assist in creating and implementing personalised learning plans.
* Foster a positive, inclusive, and safe learning environment.
* Help students manage their emotions and improve social skills as an SEMH Teaching Assistant .
* Collaborate with teachers and other staff to ensure students' needs are met effectively.

Requirements:

* Relevant qualifications, such as CACHE Level 2/3, are desirable but not essential.
* Experience working with students who have SEMH needs is an advantage.
* A compassionate and patient approach to supporting students.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* A valid Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
