Senior Key Account Manager

As the Senior Key Account Manager, you will report to the Head of Key Accounts and take full strategic ownership of a high-value portfolio of retail partners across both online and brick-and-mortar channels. You will lead joint business planning, negotiate commercial terms, build long-range forecasts and influence retailer strategies to drive category growth.
You will also work cross-functionally to deliver gold-standard executions across launch, marketing, activations and merchandising.
This role is ideal for an experienced account manager ready to step up into broader strategic responsibility and lead some of the brand’s most important UK customers.
Responsibilities
- Lead the strategic management of major retail partnerships across Boots, THG (Lookfantastic), Sephora, ASOS, Space NK, John Lewis and Selfridges
- Oversee the development and delivery of robust annual JBPs, commercial negotiations and long-term growth plans
- Drive retailer category performance through data-led insights, promotional optimisation and tailored account strategies
- Partner with Marketing to create seamless launch execution, impactful retail storytelling and enhanced on-site and in-store visibility
- Develop annual forecasts, lead S&OP discussions and ensure proactive stock and risk management in collaboration with Supply
- Identify channel-specific growth opportunities across e-commerce, bricks & mortar and omnichannel retail
- Produce high-quality sales reporting, performance reviews and insights to influence internal senior stakeholders
- Mentor and support more junior account managers, helping strengthen the commercial capability of the team
- Represent the UK business in cross-functional strategy discussions and retailer review meetings
- Maintain a deep understanding of competitor activity, category trends and consumer behaviours to inform strategy
Experience Requirements
- Experience managing major retail accounts within beauty, FMCG or lifestyle — ideally across Boots, THG (Lookfantastic), Sephora, ASOS, Space NK, John Lewis or Selfridges
- Strong commercial, negotiation and strategic planning skills
- Excellent relationship-builder with the ability to influence senior retailer stakeholders
- Advanced analytical skills with strong Excel and PowerPoint capabilities
- Highly organised with exceptional attention to detail and strong project management
- Confident presenter with the ability to communicate a compelling commercial narrative
- Passion for the beauty industry and deep understanding of omnichannel retail
- Collaborative, proactive and solutions-focused approach
- Experience mentoring or supporting junior team members is desirable
