Who We Are:

At IMG our Studios business use content and technology to power the worlds passion for sport working with global clients including The Premier League The R&A DP World Tour Euroleague Basketball and Major League Soccer. Weve built Europes best-connected broadcast centre at Stockley Park London distributing 35000 hours of content globally and creating some of the worlds best sporting coverage. Our facilities include four broadcast studios fifty edit suites and a multitude of radio podcast dubbing and VFX facilities with specialisms in remote production and carbon reduction thanks to our Green to Screen initiative. Whether its live coverage archive highlights social media branded content or feature films we give the audience a front row seat to the best sport in the world.

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities

The runner will work as part of a team of runners servicing the client areas by;

• Visiting each suite on an hourly basis to offer refreshments to the people working there;
• Checking the MSA area on a regular basis for completed duplication work and delivering such work to the client who ordered it liaising with despatch as necessary;
• Taking receipt of stock deliveries checking stock against delivery notes;
• Ensuring all areas of IMG Studios are kept clean and tidy and reporting any problems to the Head Runner or Senior Production Services Manager;
• Reporting any faults with fixtures or furnishings to the Head Runner;
• Clearing edit suites at the end of each booking and ensuring barcoded tapes are returned to the library and any other edit materials are returned to clients;
• Carrying out general tasks to assist productions as required by any staff member or client;
• Answering phones and responding to clients requests promptly;
• Assisting the Library team with various duties including:

Returning trolleys to the library.

Helping with the daily deliveries of assets to viewing areas as required.

Scanning assets into Nesbit at the following times: 09.45 13.00 15.45 Monday to Friday and when requested.

Assisting with Housekeeping and billing when needed.

• The Runner will be aware of and comply with the companys Health and Safety policies and procedures;
• The runner will maintain an excellent working relationship with clients freelance operators and staff and maintain a helpful professional and friendly attitude at all times. It is a client facing role and client satisfaction is its primary purpose;
• You may also be required to carry out any other duties which are within the scope and purpose of the job as requested by the Senior Production Services Manager.

Unusual Challenges or Circumstances e.g. shift(s)/ unsocial hours/ travel etc

• Runner needs to be flexible in terms of shift hours when the Senior Production Services Manager needs to alter them. Adequate notice will be given.
• Working over bank holidays and weekends will be required. IMG Studios operates 7 days a week 365 days of the year.

Person Specification

Knowledge and Experience

Mandatory

• Work experience in a media environment whether paid or unpaid
• Experience in a client facing role and understanding of good customer service

Desirable

• Interest in sport

Skills and Abilities

Mandatory

• Excellent organisation and communication skills (both written and verbal);
• Excellent interpersonal and client support skills (when to employ tact diplomacy discretion)
• Uses own initiative and ability to work well as part of a team and on own without close supervision;
• Previous experience of working to tight deadlines working effectively under pressure;
• Good telephone manner.
• Proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel.

Qualifications and Training

Mandatory

• Good standard of education to a minimum of A level
• Interest in Post Production

Desirable

• Qualification or study on a media based course
