Creative Lead Photographer

Harvey Nichols is looking for a Creative in-house Photographer with a focus on fashion and still life imagery. Working with our current team of in-house creatives, you will report directly to the Creative Director and work closely with our in-house fashion editor and production coordinator.

About the role:

In this role, you will execute creative photography for fashion, beauty, lifestyle and hospitality to be used across all channels for Harvey Nichols. You will be creative, self-motivated and full of ideas, taking an editorial approach to your work. You will be eager to contribute creative solutions and respond to internal briefs across the business. This role also requires flexibility to respond to spontaneous and last-minute briefs in a fast-paced fashion retail environment.

This role is integral to the creative direction of the brand, therefore experience working at a high level is required. Focus is on stills but moving image experience is valuable, but not essential. Leading the photographic content within the Harvey Nichols Creative Studio, you will specialise in capturing assets for creative content as well as be responsible for the in-house photography studio: keeping it up to date and functioning properly to ensure a smooth workflow, including file management.

Is this you?

• Post-production experience is required, as well as experience in Photoshop and Premier Pro.

• Retouching and editing skills essential, video editing skills welcome.

• Excellent work ethic and ability to multi-task.

• Strong eye for detail and organisational skills; strives for a high level of accuracy.

• Strong proven technical experience with digital cameras and lighting.

• High technical proficiency in Photoshop, Capture One.

• Meeting daily and weekly deadlines is essential.
