Physics Teacher Location: Tower Hamlets Salary: £185 - £265 per day Start Date: January 2026 Contract: Long Term

GSL Education London Branch are looking for a passionate and dedicated Physics Teacher to join a welcoming secondary comprehensive school and sixth form for girls in Tower Hamlets. This is an exciting opportunity for a Physics Teacher who enjoys inspiring young learners and making Physics engaging and accessible. As a Physics Teacher , you will deliver high-quality lessons across Key Stages 3, 4 and 5, helping students achieve excellent outcomes. This long-term role is perfect for a motivated Physics Teacher looking to make a real impact from January 2026. If you are an enthusiastic Physics Teacher with strong subject knowledge and classroom practice, this role could be for you.

Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver engaging Physics lessons in line with the national curriculum

Teach Physics across KS3, KS4, and KS5 as a Physics Teacher

Assess, track, and report on student progress effectively

Create a safe, positive, and inclusive classroom environment

Support students with different learning needs to achieve their best

Work collaboratively with the Science department and wider school team

Requirements:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent

Strong subject knowledge as a Physics Teacher

Experience teaching Physics in UK secondary schools

Good classroom and behaviour management skills

Commitment to safeguarding and student wellbeing

Ability to motivate and inspire students as a Physics Teacher
