Location: Erith

Salary: £45,760 per year +

Hours: Monday to Friday 08:00 - 16:30 and one in two Saturdays 05:00 - 13:00

The Role

We are seeking an experienced HGV Technician / HGV Mechanic / Truck Technician to join a busy and award-winning workshop in Erith. In this role, you will carry out high-quality servicing, repairs, and inspections on HGVs and trailers to ensure vehicles remain roadworthy, safe, and compliant. You'll also have access to excellent manufacturer training and development opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

Carrying out major and minor repairs on HGVs, trailers, and other vehicles
Completing regular servicing, inspections, and preventive maintenance
Maintaining accurate service records and completing all required paperwork
Supporting breakdown repairs when required
Keeping the workshop safe, clean, and well stocked
Skills and Qualifications

Essential

Level 3 NVQ, City & Guilds or IMI qualification in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance and Repair
Experience as an HGV Technician / HGV Mechanic / Truck Technician
Ability to identify worn or faulty components in line with DVSA standards
Full UK driving licence
Desirable

Experience with diagnostics, electrical systems, and advanced repair work
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
