Welcome to the dynamic world of BYD! We are seeking a Delivery Operations Specialist within our vehicle supply operations team to be a vital part of our growing team within the BYD family.
As a member of the passenger car division, you will play a key role in propelling our expansion and solidifying our presence in the UK, providing our retailer partners with industry-leading service levels and customer excellence at the front of everything we do daily
The position is office-based in Uxbridge in West London and will report to our Logistics Manager, and you will be working within the vehicle operations team.
With the recent launch of our new vehicles last year, we anticipate a thrilling and growth during 2025 and beyond.

Main Tasks and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Oversee daily delivery operations, including vehicle arrivals, readiness, and day-of-delivery processes.
- Lead planning, forecasting, implementation, and follow-up of operational activities to ensure smooth execution.
- Monitor and manage key performance indicators, including dwell time, yield, delivery costs, customer satisfaction, and transactional accuracy.
- Ensure all agreed vehicle checks are completed prior to delivery.
- Support HMRC compliance for import/export duties and customs clearance.
- Work cross-functionally with internal teams to manage vehicle inventory effectively.
- Oversee and resolve fleet-related operational issues.
- Undertake additional reasonable tasks as assigned by line management.
What are we looking for?
- 5+ years of experience in delivery operations, logistics, or supply chain management, whether within a dealer group or fleet/rental or OEM Background.
- Strong organisational and analytical skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Ability to handle and process/understand data/forecast/plan.
- Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite (Excel).
- Strong interpersonal skills and effective communication abilities.
- Enjoys working as part of a team, making a positive impact.
- Highly organised and capable of managing multiple tasks concurrently.
- An automotive background, such as a new vehicles national sales company or a large dealer group, is a bonus.
