This is a unique opportunity to influence and shape the Employee Relations function across multiple European countries within a values-driven and evolving business.
This role is suited to a strategic and adaptable ER professional who thrives in fast-paced, regulated environments and who can lead sensitive and complex employee relations matters.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement a consistent, forward-looking Employee Relations strategy across various European jurisdictions.
  • Provide expert advice on complex ER issues, partnering with senior stakeholders and HR teams.
  • Lead and mentor a small team of ER professionals, ensuring effective delivery of case management and support.
  • Oversee investigations, disciplinary actions, grievance procedures, and performance management with a focus on fairness and compliance.
  • Work closely with legal, compliance, and risk teams to align ER activity with business and regulatory requirements.
  • Use data and insights to proactively manage ER risks and enhance the employee experience.
  • Update and improve employment policies in response to changing laws and diversity objectives.

  • Skilled at managing complex cases, influencing senior leaders, and delivering results under pressure.
  • Experience in building or enhancing ER teams or functions.
  • Ability to lead a small team and drive cultural and procedural improvements.
  • Comfortable with policy development and applying ER analytics for decision-making.
  • Legal background or qualifications in employment law are advantageous.

What’s Offered:

  • The chance to lead the development of a regional Employee Relations function in a forward-thinking organisation.
  • Flexible hybrid working model based in the UK.
  • Competitive compensation and benefits package with growth opportunities.

If you are a strategic ER leader ready to take the next step in your career across Europe, please apply today.

Bruin recognises the positive value of diversity, and aims to promote equality and challenge unfair discrimination. As a champion of equal opportunity employment we welcome applications from all suitably qualified persons – men and women, people of all ages, sexual orientations, nationalities, religions and beliefs. We particularly encourage applications from women, disabled, and Black, Asian and minority ethnic candidates as these groups are underrepresented throughout the financial services industry.
