Job Title: Engineering Lecturer

School: Building, Engineering and Technical

Salary: £43,403.51 to £45,357.51 depending on experience. Additionally, this role could also attract a recruitment and retention allowance.

Hours: 14 hours a week, 52 weeks a year

Basis: Part-time, Permanent

We are seeking an Engineering Lecturer to deliver Level 1 to Level 3 Engineering programmes to our students. The School of Building, Engineering and Technical Services is an exceptional place to work, with staff working collaboratively to ensure the very best outcomes for our students.

You should be qualified to Level 3 or above in Engineering and have experience in working within the Mechanical Engineering Industry. Ideally, you should also hold a recognised teaching qualification.

We are looking for a candidate who is passionate about their subject and has a demonstrable commitment to using their expertise to create an excellent teaching and learning experience for our learners.

This post qualifies for the Taking Teaching Further (TTF) initiative, which means the successful candidate can potentially study a Level 5 Diploma in Education and Training alongside their role. The costs of this Level 5 Diploma are met by the College /TTF grant funding, with first year support and shadowing provided.
