ROLE OVERVIEW

This is one for the creative go-getters! We’re on the hunt for a brilliantly talented, high-energy Freelance Visual Merchandiser to join the RIXO team on a 2-day-per-week basis. If you live and breathe visual storytelling, get a thrill from transforming a blank space into something utterly show-stopping, and can’t walk past a shop window without mentally restyling it, we want to hear from you.

You’ll be the creative force behind our in-store experience, department store pop-ups, window displays, showroom design, and event spaces. This role is hands-on, fast-paced, and wonderfully varied - no two weeks will look the same. You’ll split your time between our Head Office and UK stores, bringing the world of RIXO to life at every touchpoint.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Designing and executing 4-5 store window displays around key collection moments (March, May, September, Holiday, and Sale/Promotional) that stop people in their tracks and shout RIXO from every angle window

• Owning monthly window VM refreshes across all UK stores to showcase new product drops.

• Creating monthly VM guides for store teams to follow, ensuring a consistent brand experience across all locations.

• Conceptualising and delivering stand-out department store pop-up spaces that capture the energy and joy of the brand.

• Continuously evolving and elevating our showroom interior design and marketing communications, always looking for the next big idea.

• Supporting the team with event design, from intimate press dinners to buzzing launch parties, ensuring every detail is picture-perfect.

• Managing VM budgets and costs like a pro - you know how to create maximum impact without blowing the budget.

• Tapping into your incredible black book of trusted printers, set builders, and suppliers across London and the UK to bring concepts to life, on time and on budget.

WHO YOU ARE

• A proven Visual Merchandiser with demonstrable experience working with luxury fashion or lifestyle brands. Your portfolio speaks for itself.

• Proactive, decisive, and bursting with initiative; you don’t wait to be told, you spot the opportunity and run with it.

• A quick decision-maker who thrives under pressure and loves the buzz of a fast turnaround.

• Budget-savvy with a sharp eye for managing costs, sourcing smartly, and negotiating with suppliers.
