Branch Membership Services Manager

UNISON Southwark is currently recruiting for a part-time Branch membership services manager.
Members of the branch are people working in Local Government, schools and colleges and for private contractors providing public services. We are part of the Greater London Region of UNISON and actively participate in national and regional union activities.
You will be responsible for the delivery of high- quality customer focused membership services, seek to continually improve our services, increasing member satisfaction and improving retention rates and to manage the administration and organisation of the Branch office.
To succeed in this new role you will need:
• Demonstrable experience of providing an administrative service in a busy office environment
• Experience of providing excellent service to a wide range of service users including trade union members and trade union officers and other trade unions third party service providers
• Demonstrable team working skills
• Strong computer literacy and working knowledge of Microsoft packages at an intermediate level (minimum requirement)
• Experience in the use of databases, including the production of tailored reports
• An awareness of the UK General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR) and other data protection and confidentiality requirements
