EMESA Regional Technical Director

Gravitee
London

Gravitee is a 2025 Gartner® Magic Quadrant™ Leader , on a mission to govern the world’s intelligence .

We deliver the industry’s most advanced platform for Any API, Any Event, and Any AI Agent , trusted by global leaders like Michelin, Roche, and Blue Yonder.

Why Gravitee?

  • The Mission: We are bridging the gap between traditional tech and the new frontier of AI Security.

  • The Momentum: We combine the credibility of a market leader with the high-octane speed of a startup.

  • The DNA: We hire "Hold Nothing Back" individuals - passionate professionals who want to redefine how the world interacts with technology.

The Role

AI is reshaping how organisations build, ship, and scale digital products and APIs are the connective tissue that makes it possible.

As a Director of Solutions & TAMs for EMEA, you will be the strategic technical engine behind our European expansion . Reporting directly to the SVP of EMEA , you will bridge the gap between initial technical validation and long-term customer value.

You aren't just managing a team; you are building a "Center of Excellence" that ensures our customers, from developers to CTOs, understand the power of the Gravitee ecosystem. You will lead through two key managers across the EMEA team (EMEA South & EMEA North/DACH).

What You’ll Be Doing

At Gravitee, impact isn’t abstract - it’s visible and global. In this role, you will:

  • Strategic Leadership: Lead the execution of the technical go-to-market strategy for the EMEA region, aligning with global goals while catering to local market nuances.

  • Team Development: Lead, mentor, and scale technical functions. You will be responsible for the professional growth of your managers and the high-performance culture of their underlying teams.

  • The "Golden Thread": Ensure a seamless transition from the "Art of the Possible" (Pre-sales) to "Realised Value" (Post-sales), minimising friction between initial acquisition and long-term retention.

  • Executive Partnership: Act as a technical advisor to the SVP of EMEA, providing data-driven insights into deal technicalities, churn risks, and product requirements.

  • Advocacy & Feedback: Serve as the voice of the EMEA customer to the Product and Engineering teams, influencing the roadmap based on regional market demands.

Your impact will be visible, measurable, and global.

Essential Skills

  • Technical Pedigree: Experience in the API Management (APIM), Event-Driven Architecture (EDA), or Identity and Access Management (IAM) space. You should speak "Developer" fluently

  • The "Scale-Up" Mindset: Experience in a high-growth SaaS environment where you’ve built processes from the ground up rather than just following a legacy playbook.

  • Leader of Leaders: Proven experience managing managers. You know how to delegate effectively while maintaining a pulse on team health and deal execution.

  • Commercial Acumen: You understand that technical excellence serves a commercial purpose. You are comfortable presenting ROI, TCO, and expansion strategies to C-suite stakeholders.

  • EMEA Market Expertise: Deep experience in the EMEA landscape, with a strong grasp of regional compliance, procurement cycles, and diverse business cultures.

Who Thrives Here

Our growth is powered by people who bring passion to their craft, professionalism to their execution, and a commitment to excellence. You’ll thrive here if you:

  • Care deeply about high-quality output and brand clarity.

  • Are curious, adaptable, and energized by the fast-moving AI landscape.

  • Take full ownership of your projects from concept to completion.

  • Value a culture of openness, collaboration, and constant evolution.

Bonus points if you’ve worked with APIs, cloud-native platforms, AI-enabled systems, or open source, but curiosity matters most.
