Family & Private Client Solicitor
Options for Hybrid/remote work
Commitment minimum 4 days a week/Self-Supervising
Salary £55,000k – £60,000 pro rata
Our client is seeking an experienced Family & Private Client Solicitor on a consultancy basis. This role is ideal for a self-supervising solicitor with experience in all areas of private family law, including surrogacy law, as well as wills probate, and Lasting Powers of Attorney (LPAs).
Key Responsibilities
- Handling a broad range of family law matters, including divorce, financial relief, and children proceedings.
- Advising and representing clients on surrogacy and assisted reproduction law.
- Managing private client matters, including drafting wills, handling probate cases, and preparing LPAs
- Conducting casework independently with minimal supervision.
- Providing high quality legal advice and ensuring excellent client care
- Supervising or mentoring junior staff where necessary.
Requirement:
- Qualified Solicitor (England & Wales) with at lease 5 years PQE in family and private client law
- Strong experience in private family law, including financial and children matters.
- Expertise in surrogacy law and assisted reproduction matters.
- Proven track record in wills, probate and LPAS.
- Self-supervising with the ability to manage caseloads independently.
- Strong communication and client management skills.
