Wayman Education is recruiting a KS2 Teacher for a popular primary in Dagenham. The KS2 Teacher will deliver well-sequenced lessons, use assessment to inform targeted interventions and contribute to moderation and whole-school development. This KS2 Teacher role starts January 2026, with induction and planning sessions arranged ahead of January 2026 so the successful candidate can begin the spring term ready to lead learning.

Main duties
- Plan and deliver sequenced KS2 lessons that secure knowledge retention and application across the curriculum.
- Analyse assessment data to prioritise teaching and to design high-impact small-group support.
- Contribute to curriculum development, moderation and staff CPD within the KS2 phase.
- Liaise with parents and external partners to support pupil progress and transition.
- Participate in whole-school initiatives and pastoral programmes across Dagenham.
Person specification
- Qualified teacher with robust KS2 experience and the ability to teach across multiple year groups.
- Strong planning, assessment and classroom management skills and a collaborative approach to improvement.
- Committed to professional development and ready to work within the Dagenham school community.
- Available to take up post January 2026 and to attend induction sessions before January 2026.
