Main duties

• Plan and deliver sequenced KS2 lessons that secure knowledge retention and application across the curriculum.
• Analyse assessment data to prioritise teaching and to design high-impact small-group support.
• Contribute to curriculum development, moderation and staff CPD within the KS2 phase.
• Liaise with parents and external partners to support pupil progress and transition.
• Participate in whole-school initiatives and pastoral programmes across Dagenham.

Person specification

• Qualified teacher with robust KS2 experience and the ability to teach across multiple year groups.
• Strong planning, assessment and classroom management skills and a collaborative approach to improvement.
• Committed to professional development and ready to work within the Dagenham school community.
• Available to take up post January 2026 and to attend induction sessions before January 2026.
